Birdathon 2021 may be different again this year, but spring has arrived and the birds still need us! If you feel comfortable participating this year, I would be grateful for your support. If not, I understand, but would still love for you to follow along!

My team The Wrenegades will not be able to assemble in person and dominate the 7 Seas like we have in the past, but we will be birding on May 1 separately or in small teams and coming together at the end of the day for an outdoor meal and happy hour. "Woo" knows, we may even hear some owls at that time! Rest assured, as a team we will be covering all of Southeast Arizona's amazing habitats and birds. We'll compile an awesome list of birds to share with you all! I'll be sending updates before the big day and be sure to follow along on social media--there might even be some Facebook live videos.

Thanks so much for supporting me in the past and in 2021. I really appreciate your generosity and I hope everyone is well.

Pledges:

• Marica Grand: $10/species and an extra $1,000 if you spot a roadrunner, an extra $50 for every owl species over 2, an extra $100 for every working nest (ie, bird on nest and/or eggs in nest), an extra $10 for every snake you ID, $100 for every hawk over 4, and $10 for every identifiable butterfly
• Cynthia Pruett: $1/species and an extra $1 for each raptor
• Cynthia & Howard Lawrence: $2/species and an extra $5 for each owl seen or heard
• Clayton Clark: Pack it out challenge: $0.50 for every piece of trash packed out of the wilderness areas.
• Marcee Sherrill: $0.50/species and an extra $1 for each Turkey Vulture you see

Birds have a unique, special, and different meaning to each of us. So, too, is each of our connection with Tucson Audubon Society personal and distinct. During Birdathon, we combine the love of bird watching during spring migration with support for bird conservation.

Birdathoners are birders and social fundraisers, joining together to make a difference for the birds and habitats of Southeast Arizona. Birdathoners continue a tradition that has held strong for over 30 years! 

Each Birdathoner's personal network of supporters is what helps makes Birdathon possible. 

Birdathon donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Tucson Audubon Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
