Join Kendall Kroesen of Tucson Audubon and the Bird(athon) the Tucson Birding Trail Map team for a Big Day on Saturday, April 23rd, 6am - 3pm

This is a whirlwind tour of six to eight of the 45 locations on the new Tucson Birding Trail Map--as many as we can fit in during the morning. I’ve chosen ones that are around central Tucson and easily accessed. Still, I bet you haven’t been to all of these nearby birding sites, These sites have a surprising variety of habitats given their urban locations and we should see at least 50 bird species. We will meet at Himmel Park and carpool from there. A map and my cell phone number will be provided to participants in case any of the cars get separated. We will start at 6 a.m. and attempt to be done by noon. (I would be glad to carry on after noon if there are enthusiasts that want to push on!)

Birdathoners are birders and social fundraisers, joining together to make a difference for the birds and habitats of southeast Arizona. Birdathoners continue a tradition that has held strong for over 25 years. 

Each Birdathoner's personal network of supporters is what helps makes Birdathon possible.
