It's here again, probably the most important month in Tucson Audubon's Year - BIRDATHON.
Tucson Audubon has been protecting birds, preserving natural habitats and open space, and educating people of all ages about birds and other wildlife for 67 years. It is one of the oldest continuously functioning wildlife organizations in Arizona.
Even if you only want to help support the astounding legacy of the Paton family, Patons' Birding Haven, then please donate generously. But the work of Tucson Audubon extends way beyond Patagonia, AZ; habitat restoration, water conservation, education etc.
I wouldn't presume to ask you to donate on a per-species basis even though I can reliably identify a House Sparrow and several others. So please donate what you can afford.
Birds have a unique, special, and different meaning to each of us. So too is each of our connection with Tucson Audubon Society personal and distinct. During Birdathon, we combine the love of bird watching during spring migration with support for bird conservation.
Birdathoners are birders and social fundraisers, joining together to make a difference for the birds and habitats of southeast Arizona. Birdathoners continue a tradition that has held strong for over 25 years.
Each Birdathoner's personal network of supporters is what helps makes Birdathon possible.
