A group of new birders, the intrepid Rosenbirders (Lee Rosenblum, Amy Rosenblum, Diana Rosenblum, and Matt "Rosenblum" Batten) will be participating in their first Birdathon this year on Saturday, April 30th. The team plans on starting their casual Big Day by sleeping in (no waking up at the crack of dawn!) and doing some backyard birding with a cup of coffee in hand. The Rosenbirders make their way to Madera Canyon to look for hummingbirds, swing by the Paton Center for Hummingbirds to see who's visiting the yard, stop by Patagonia Lake in search of waterfowl, and from there, see where the day takes them.

If you would like to support the Rosenbirders with a donation, please feel free to add an encouraging note! Donations of all amounts are greatly appreciated, and help support the amazing bird and habitat conservation work of Tucson Audubon!

ABOUT Birdathon 2016

Birds have a unique, special, and different meaning to each of us. So too is each of our connection with Tucson Audubon Society personal and distinct. During Birdathon, we combine the love of bird watching during spring migration with support for bird conservation.

Birdathoners are birders and social fundraisers, joining together to make a difference for the birds and habitats of southeast Arizona. Birdathoners continue a tradition that has held strong for over 25 years.

Each Birdathoner's personal network of supporters is what helps makes Birdathon possible.

This April and May, I'm going birding for the birds!
