Los Pajaro Peregrinos de Patagonia (The Bird Pilgrims of Patagonia – P3 for petite) invite YOU to participate in a playful pilgrimage from the Paton Center to all points Patagonian—and/or to pledge your sweet support for our plucky bird-a-thon team.  Pelicans? Puffins? Parakeets?  We’ll begin our day—April 20, 2015—under the pleasant canopy of the Paton backyard paradise, proceeding then on round the lovely Richard Grand Memorial Meadow loop trail to the streamside restoration site. Pigeons? Penguins? Poorwills? Presently we’ll plod on over to the never-before bird-a-thoned Paton Center-Patagonia Sonoita Creek trail. Pufflegs? Peppershrikes? Pipits? We’ll swing back by the Paton Center, plop down for a precious rest, then promenade into town for pickles, pomegranates, plum pie (or perhaps a PLT wrap). Perambulating about the park, perusing Patagonia backstreets, or perhaps even the Preserve (if they’ll permit us entry on a Monday)—anything is possible with P3—and you’re even free to pass your pilgrimage by just sitting in one place. Please join us—or at least support us! All proceeds promised to Tucson Audubon. We’re birding for the birds!

ABOUT Birdathon 2015

Birds have a unique, special, and different meaning to each of us. So too is each of our connection with Tucson Audubon Society personal and distinct. During Birdathon, we combine the love of bird watching during spring migration with support for bird conservation.

Birdathoners are birders and social fundraisers, joining together to make a difference for the birds and habitats of southeast Arizona. Birdathoners continue a tradition that has held strong for over 25 years.

Each Birdathoner's personal network of supporters is what helps makes Birdathon possible.

This April and May, I'm going birding for the birds!
