Hello and welcome to the Birdathon page for Scott's Orioles, led by me, Scott Olmstead!

Will you join my expert-led Birdathon team on Saturday, April 26th? Give or get donations of $200 are recommended for my teammates, and all donations are greatly appreciated.

Here's the plan for the trip:
Sky islands are mountain islands separated by surrounding desert and grassland plains, and are among the most diverse ecosystems in the world. Tour the Sky Islands with me, Scott, to witness firsthand the significantly varied bird species to be found in each life zone. We will aim for 75-100 species. The day will start with a visit to Agua Caliente Park before the team heads up the Catalina Highway, looking for new birds in each of the different life zones.

Birds have a unique, special, and different meaning to each of us. So too is each of our connection with Tucson Audubon Society personal and distinct. During Birdathon, we combine the love of bird watching during spring migration with support for bird conservation.

Birdathoners are birders and social fundraisers, joining together to make a difference for the birds and habitats of southeast Arizona. Birdathoners continue a tradition that has held strong for over 25 years. 

Each Birdathoner's personal network of supporters is what helps makes Birdathon possible.
