Birding is more fun with friends!
I've had a great time meeting birders from near and far on the TBA trips I've led over the last 4 years.
I hope that the people who go birding with me turn their love of birds into action. Donating to a Birdathon team is a great way to support the extensive projects that theTucson Bird Alliance undertakes to restore and improve native habitats, including removing invasive species plants, protecting birds in urban and residential settings, research and surveys on threatened birds, and creating bird-friendly yards.
My trips will focus on having fun with other birders and seeing many of the wonderful birds who live in or migrate through the Sonoran Desert. I hope that you will join me on a trip or support the Tucson Bird Alliance from wherever you live.
April 10 at Sabino Canyon (overflow parking lot): The Bakc to Bed team observed 22 species, two white-tailed deer and a gorgeous king snake.
