The Birding Plot - A Social Experiment

Meet the Team: 2 Strangers. 30 Days. 1 Desert.
Michelle and Angie met at a Hawk Watch just weeks ago and realized they weren’t just "bird-obsessed"—they were essentially the same person. From sharing sisters' names to eloping along hiking trails weeks apart to having the same weekend BOOKED with author panels at the Tucson Festival of Books, the coincidences were too weird to ignore.
So, naturally, they decided to do what any two strangers would do: sign up for a month-long Bird-a-thon in the unforgiving Sonoran Desert.

The Social Experiment:
Is this the start of a lifelong friendship or the birth of "hate-birding"? We’re documenting the good, the bad, and the "waking up at 4:00 AM" ugly on social media. No spoilers—just two amateurs, one too many road trips, and a lot of binoculars and bloopers.

The Mission:
We are proud to support the Tucson Bird Alliance. Our goal is to spot 75 species in April and raise $500.00.
