Hi! I'm Jennie Wren of the Wrenegades - aka Jennie MacFarland
Please consider sponsoring me, Jennie MacFarland, aka Jennie Wren of the Wrenegades in this year’s Birdathon fundraiser. The Wrenegades Birdathon team is a band of swashbuckling bird lovers that will cruise the high seas between the Sky Islands seeking riches using our eBird treasure map.
In previous years the Wrenegades have been a pirate crew that ruthlessly searched the Sky Islands for hummingbird jewels and warbler gems trying to find as many feathered riches as possible. This year, the Wrenegades Birdathon team will be focusing on having a fun experience as well as trying to get lots of birds!!
Birds need us now more than ever, and Tucson Audubon needs your support to continue our mission to inspire people to enjoy and protect birds. If you feel comfortable participating this year, I would be grateful for your support. If not, please know that I completely understand and it is no problem. All friends are invited to follow along on our day of birding adventure. We will be posting messages and videos throughout the day .
All supporters will receive a full narrative of our antics along with the mishaps and triumphs that come along with a Big Day. My top supporters will receive an additional token of my gratitude. Info about our day will also be posted on this page once we recover from our adventure.
Last year some of my supporters had creative challenges such as a bonus donation for specific species or behaviors observed. This made the day of birding so much fun and I enthusiastically encourage similar challenges this year.
