Introducing Alexis Stark and Jake Thompson, a passionate bird-watching couple with over 7 years of experience in avian exploration. With a love for Arizona's diverse landscapes, they've dedicated countless hours to observing the winged wonders that call the Sky Islands their home. Their connection with the Sonoran Desert runs deep, having lived in Arizona their entire lives.

Now, they're embarking on a new adventure: participating in Tucson Bird Alliance's Birdathon! As Alexis and Jake prepare to spread their wings for this noble cause, they invite you to join them in supporting their Birdathon team "Just Wingin' It". They plan to conduct their birdathon effort on one BIG DAY in April & plan to visit various habitats thoughout Southern Arizona. The goal is to beat their total from last year (161 species in one day)! Your donations will not only fuel their passion for birding but also contribute to vital conservation efforts aimed at preserving native species and their habitats. Please consider donating a fixed amount or per species, with a chance for other wildlife bonuses such as amphibians, reptiles, and mammals.
