This is our second year participating in the Birdathon but we had to change our team name since we're not doing a solar eclipse this time. Eclipse Plumage is now Borneo Birdzilla since we will be spending April 1-17 birding in Borneo. I think it is more fun to have a new team name each year.

Speaking of new names, Tucson Audubon is now the Tucson Bird Alliance.

We hope that all of last year's generous sponsors will consider pledging to us again. We raised $5,000 for Tucson Audubon last year after we set a goal of $500! And we would love to have new contributors too.

You can pledge per species, per species photographed, or as a set donation. We're hoping to see 300 species in Borneo, so a 25-cent per species pledge would yield $75 or a 10-cent per species would yield $30 for Audubon, which is transitioning to the Tucson Bird Alliance. We'll also have the remainder of April to bird in Arizona.

So please help us raise funding for the Tucson Bird Alliance. They do incredible work for our avian friends by improving habitat, studying birds, and educating the public about the importance of birds. If you want an idea of the wonderful things they've accomplished in a year, here's a link to their 2023 colorful and impressive annual report. 

To make it easy to donate, here is a direct link to the Pledge Form that allows you to create your own challenges. Ones we had last year included "an extra $5 for each owl" and "$10 for each snake." Just remember to list Borneo Birdzilla on the form.
