Tubac Nature Center Birding Blitz

The Tubac Nature Center is off to a flying start on the Bird-a-thon! Please PLEDGE to support Tucson Audubon! You can also come out and bird with us on April 3.

You can join bird walk leaders from the Tubac Nature Center for bird-a-thon walks on the Anza Trail, starting at 7 a.m. on Wednesday April 3 in Ron Morriss Park, Tubac. You can also watch hawks in the Park with the official hawk counters of Hawk Watch International.

Team members will be blitzing the trail from Clark Crossing north to the Nature Center's newly acquired land near the Tubac Golf Resort. Come in the morning when the birding is best! Morning walks will be at 7, 9 and 11 a.m.

Since we will be watching hawks and birding the trail, we encourage pledges based on the total number of bird species and challenge pledges based on the day's total count of raptors.
