After a short break to go build a house, I am back and even more excited about how big a number I can get to this year! As in past years, I will be counting only birds that I am able to photograph. So your pledges will be based on that total number. I will also be giving away two framed prints of any bird that I photographed for this event, one to the person with the largest amount donated, and the other will be by raffle to all the others who contribute! Given that I am now working at the Paton Center for Hummingbirds, I will start my day there, and see how far afield I can get....

They are a few ways you can contribute, the first is risk free, simply have a set amount you are willing to pledge. Or, you can designate a pledge for each bird I am able to photograph. The fun really begins with some creative pledges. For example, a bonus for any red bird, or any hummingbird species, bird on a fence post...lets get creative and see what fun stuff you want me to try to capture on film (well digital film shall we say)

Pledges:

Marcia Grand: $10/species and
- $150 if you get all four (all must be ID’d and actually seen not just heard): snake, lizard, ground squirrel, rabbit
- $150 if you see a coyote
- $150 if you see five different types of waterbirds: ducks, cormorants, shore birds, grebes, herons, etc – anything that swims or is comfortable in the water.
- $250 Challenge: Since you hang out at the Richard Grand Memorial Meadow, identify five different butterflies in the Garden. My Richard would love that!
Wendy Woodard: $1/species and an extra $0.50 for every picture of a bird taken from your hot tub
Laurie Beden: $1.50/species and a bonus of $30 for clear image of Red-faced Warbler ❤️
Robert Novak: $1/species and an extra $50 for a photo with a bird and moon in frame (daytime). Extra $100 for a bird and moon in frame (nighttime). Extra $25 for a selfie with Tom and at least 3 hummingbirds in frame.
Roxanna Quitino: $2/species
