Birding in Heaven! Specifically in Reserva de La Biósfera El Cielo in Tamaulipas, Mexico! On April 30 we will load up in 4WD vehicles and depart early from Gomez Farias for the drive up into the northernmost cloud forest in Mexico, staying overnight at Ranch del Cielo. Becards and buntings! Motmots and trogons! Parrots and hummingbirds! Tanagers and warblers! It's bound to be a colorful day. Some special not-so-colorful birds I'm hoping to see (or hear) are Singing Quail, Ornate Hawk-Eagle, and Tamaulipas Pygmy-Owl. I'll be putting a little extra motivation for finding birds on leader David MacKay by personally pledging per species with bonuses for life birds and new species for Mexico! I know Dave will want to help me support TAS! I hope you will too!
