Team "Dry Martini, Two Olive Warblers" is back!

Linda Matson, Cathy Yungbluth, Kirsten Howe and Hollie Mansfield will bird and picnic at Madera Canyon on April 10th. We'll be grateful for donations in any amount to help the birds. As an added incentive, if you donate at least $25, you'll receive your choice of a pocket-sized field journal/sketchbook or a set of two drink coasters imprinted with our team name and logo. Available while supplies last.

You can make a donation of a fixed amount or pledge an amount for every species we get. You can also add a special challenge--for example, an extra $5 for an Elegant Trogon or $10 if we get the coveted Olive Warbler. So far, we’ve dipped on the Olive Warbler on Birdathon, but we might try harder if properly incentivized! 

Please consider joining team Dry Martini on April 10th for a relaxed, casual birding outing at Madera Canyon followed by a picnic lunch (minimum donation $25, thanks!) Pledges:

• Bill Sievers: $1/species and an additional $10 for an Olive Warbler
• Linda Matson: $2 for every bird species that Bill Sievers can identify while sipping a Dry Martini on our patio at sunset on Birdathon Day!
• Cathy Yungbluth: $25 for an Elegant Trogon, $25 for two Olive Warblers, and $6.50 for a dry martini
• Marcia Grand: $10/species; $5 for every active nest (building, eggs, sitting, etc); $10 for every species of identified snake; $5 for every species of identified butterfly; $50 for a turtle; an extra $100 if you ID 5 or more hummingbird species; $500 for one eagle
• Kirsten Howe: $0.50/species and an additional $1/warbler species
• Michael Judd: $20 for one or more Five-striped Sparrows
• Justin Sharrow: $0.25/species and $1 for every life bird!
• Karen Howe: $300 flat pledge

Birds have a unique, special, and different meaning to each of us. So, too, is each of our connection with Tucson Audubon Society personal and distinct. During Birdathon, we combine the love of bird watching during spring migration with support for bird conservation.

Birdathoners are birders and social fundraisers, joining together to make a difference for the birds and habitats of Southeast Arizona. Birdathoners continue a tradition that has held strong for over 30 years! 

Each Birdathoner's personal network of supporters is what helps makes Birdathon possible. 

Birdathon donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Tucson Audubon Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
